The last lunar eclipse for until 2015 happened this morning. I got up at 3:00 am, got ready and headed to Morro Bay. I envisioned a time lapse series with the moon setting behind Morro Rock. As I got to Cuesta it was foggy and my plan was a bust. I turned around, headed over the grade to north county. As the moon went into eclipse, the sky got hazy and this was my best effort.
The clouds hurt the eclipse but not the sunrise an hour later. This was taken at Sextant vineyard in Templeton.
